PharmaSeq Inc. Invited to Present at the Chips to Hits Conference

Monmouth Junction, NJ, October 15, 2003. PharmaSeq, Inc. announced today that Dr. Wlodek Mandecki, PharmaSeq President, has been invited to present at the Chips to Hits international conference being held at the World Trade Center in Boston, MA. Dr. Mandecki's presentation entitled "Application of Microtransponder Technology in Solution-Phase Assay Format" will take place on Thursday, October 30th. Dr. Mandecki will review the laser light-powered microtransponder, the flow reader instrument and their use in DNA, protein and cell-based assays.

PharmaSeq, a biotechnology company based near Princeton, New Jersey, has developed microchips and related high-speed reading instruments for applications in bioassays. Microtransponders are the smallest, externally powered, integrated circuits capable of radio frequency transmission ever made, measuring only 250 microns across. Their excellent radio-frequency characteristics are highly suited for the development of high-throughput microchip flow systems for multiplex assays.
