PharmaSeq Launches Improved Web Site with e-Commerce Capabilities

Monmouth Junction, NJ, May 15, 2013. PharmaSeq, Inc. announced today that it has launched a new version of its web site, The site, which is totally redesigned, contains sections describing PharmaSeq patented p-Chip® microtransponder technology, products that are for sale and applications that are either available today or under development. A key feature of the new web site is an e-commerce section that allows customers to select desired products and place orders.

Dr. Richard Morris, CEO of PharmaSeq, commented: "The launch of our new web site represents another key step in PharmaSeq's progress as it transitions from being a grant-supported R&D organization to one that is fully functioning as a commercially sustainable company." Dr. Morris added: "The initial product emphasis is on our superior product offering for tagging and tracking small laboratory animals such as mice. However, the low cost, ruggedness and biocompatibility of p-Chips make them ideal in many fields such as biorepositories, histopathology and in applications in life sciences and clinical diagnostics. We anticipate adding more products as they are developed."

About PharmaSeq. PharmaSeq, Inc., has developed an ultra-small microtransponder tag called the p-Chip that will revolutionize several billion-dollar industries. The p-Chip is the smallest, most technologically-advanced commercial product available today for tagging and authenticating consumer goods, industrial goods and small animals. It is at least 100-fold smaller than current gold standard RFID tags and is an order of magnitude less expensive than RFID tags commonly used today. The p-Chip is nearly impossible to counterfeit and can be used reliably in environmentally-challenging conditions ranging from -190°C to 500°C. These four unique capabilities of the p-Chip significantly expand the addressable market for this highly advanced, foundational technology. For additional information, visit
